Excellent All Round. Outstandning Seafood banquet. Everything else was also great!
 
Our family tends to spend more on food than accomodations, so I was not quite sure more than $200 a night for 2 twin beds was worth it--well it was! We had 2 rooms, one of the rooms had a double bed in addition to a twin, the family were very comfortable in both. The food, how do I put it?--was simply fabulous if you are a seafood lover! The many choices of fresh seafood and the vegetables were so tasty and pleasing to the eyes. A shrimp cocktail came with a bouquette made with carrot rose, two different types of flowers made with white radish, one with cucumber and one with long, thin red pepper--so lovely! The staff was also outstanding, pleasant and efficient even if it was a bit late at night. We had such a great time throughout the whole stay with Annam Junk.  The water on the Junk is also about 4-5 times than the price in Hanoi. Other than these, enjoy your time with Annam Junk and say Hello to the staff for us!

Well worth the trip, excellent food!
Annam Junk was part of a package which included transport to and from Hanoi. The staff on the boat were very helpful. The room was comfortable and quite spacious. All meals served on board were well prepared and there was more than enough for the 14 people. The seafood lunch was amazing. I arranged the trip to be in Halong bay on New Years Eve. The crew made it extra special by arranging a party from 9PM to see in the New Year. If you are planning to fly out of Hanoi straight from Halong Bay, it is advisable to take a later flight. I had a flight to Danang at 6PM and it was a bit of a mad rush to get to the airport on time, as the road between Halong City and Hanoi is extremely busy and the road condition is not so good.

 Mao, the tour guide was exceptionally friendly anf spent many hours provding information + being good Company. He could not be any better. The room were kept varry clean. the Chef was also excellent, producing good food, well presented.

We had a wonderful time on ANNAM junk. It was our honeymoon of the attention to detail was beautiful. We saw alots of sight in Halong Bay and our Guide was very infomative. The staff were very kind, the food was delicious and kayking in the lagoon was one of the hightlights at our holliday.

This is a long overdue email.
 I just wanted to let you know how much my family and friends enjoyed the cruise on the Halong Bay Travel Junk.  We had such a great time on board, we were very happy with the crew, in particular the gentleman who acted as the tour guide for all the guests.  He was very helpful, polite and friendly.  We very much enjoyed all the varieties of seafood for all our meals and the spring rolls were the best we have EVER tasted!  The teenagers thoroughly enjoyed the kayaking and we were very lucky with the weather on the first day as it was very clear and made it perfect for photos.
We hope that sometime in the future we may be able to enjoy your cruise again.  In the meantime we are happy to pass on your details to other tourists who may be interested in touring Halong Bay on board a Junk.

Safey back in Australia.  Had a good time in Vietnam and the assistance of all your staff made it so!Two days into the trip and it is time for some exotic sightseeing.Halong is supposed to be one of the ten natural wonders- trouble is there seem to be a thousand wonders in the top ten.  Even so Halong is pretty spectacular. Karst topography for the geographers.  Huge lumps of strangely shaped limestone, sticking out of the sea for the rest. The idea is to travel around the bay in a Chinese style junk- Annam Junk.  Stay the night or nights if you wish in sheltered bays and enjoy the views and the seafood. So thanks for your work

Dear Mr Quan, Thank you very much for your assistance and the great trip in Vietnam. I just wanted to drop you a note about my experience at Halong Bay.
Annam Junk is the one of the best ones at Halong Bay, which has the beautifully decorated air-conditioned rooms with the private bathroom and are completed with the sundecks on the roof top.
All the staffs on board were friendly yet discreet.  The experience of paddling the kayak at the secluded bay was beyond any word.
